VOLUNTEER INFO
WHY SHOULD I VOLUNTEER AT THE SALE?
Volunteers who work one 3 hour shift will:
- Earn 70% of their total sales.
- Shop before the public at the volunteer pre-sale Thurs. Nov. 10th from 8:00pm - 9:00pm
Volunteers who work two 3 hour shifts will:
- Earn 75% of their total sales.
- Shop before the public at the volunteer pre-sale Thurs. Nov. 10th from 7:00pm - 9:00pm
VOLUNTEER JOB DESCRIPTIONS
The following are descriptions of the various jobs we will need help with the sale:
- SETTING UP: Come join us to set up shop. Dress casually as we get some exercise setting-up racks and tables. Some lifting required. Husbands are welcome to volunteer for you! 3 HOUR SHIFT!!!!
- CHECKING ITEMS IN: Come see what everyone is dropping off! You will check-in sellers and inspect items for quality. Volunteer to check in while you are already there checking in your own items.
- ORGANIZING FOR SALE: Do you have an organizing/merchandising talent? Come work this fast paced shift as we organize and set-up for the sale.
- DE-TAGGER: Help check-out items as you take off the tags. Perfect for those that like to keep moving!
- SALES FLOOR ASSISTANT: Any type A personalities out there? Help us keep the items organized while assisting and shoppers that need help.
- SORTING: Be part of the group that sorts donated items and not sold items back out by seller (#) number. Save yourself a trip and bring your unsold items home with you.
Thank you for volunteering. We are thankful you are going to help make this sale a success. It is important you show up for your shift. The sale and others are affected if you do not show. If you do not show up for your volunteer shift, you will no longer be able to volunteer in future sales. Please arrive a 10 minutes early to check-in and receive instructions on your job. CHILDREN ARE NOT TO ACCOMPANY YOU DURING YOUR VOLUNTEER SHIFT!
